Childhood Unplugged

I have been making a conscious effort to make my girls have an unplugged childhood. They aren’t very plugged in. They watch movies and dvds of kids shows. But, I am guilty of using the TV to get some quiet. I also want them to spend time outside and soaking up their childhood without toys.

You can see the hashtag #childhoodunplugged on my Instagram page; and many other pages.

I realize that not everyone has a best friend that owns two horses. I am just blessed! πŸ˜‰ I am open to other suggestions for outdoor activities. We really want to take the girls camping once it’s not unbearably hot.

What is your favorite “unplugged” activity? I’m all eyes!
