It’s so hard to believe that Easter has come and gone. Our Easter started off super yucky outside. It was grey and raining/drizzling all morning. I was bummed thinking that we would have to do our Easter egg hunt inside.
We had an INCREDIBLE Easter service at church celebrating the resurrection. It was awesome to see the auditorium packed with guests and seeing two people come to know Christ. Praise God!!!
Getting a picture of all three of these kids is nearly impossible. At least Harper smiled. haha! These dresses are from Primary. I was worried about the quality since they are only available online, but they are so well made. Plus, they have pockets! Winner winner chicken dinner!
We had extra special guests with us for Easter lunch. Two of them went to the early service and then came home to work on our Easter meal so that we didn’t have to eat hours late. It was so delicious. These bread nests are SO good. This is the second year we have made them, and they don’t disappoint. I actually got them all put together the night before and put the uncooked nests in the fridge. I pulled them out in the morning and they were ready to go in the oven a few hours later.
Thankfully, the weather had turned beautiful by the time we got done eating, so we were able to have an egg hunt outside. We opted for the front yard so Rocci wouldn’t eat all of the eggs while the girls hunted for them.
My kids will hunt eggs over and over and over again. It’s the perfect way to entertain them. We finally got tired of eggs all over the house and put them all away for next year.
I hope that you all hand a wonderful Easter full of family, friends, and most importantly, remember what Jesus gave for us. I am so thankful that He is risen!
